Admission Scholarship

All applicants will be considered for Admission Scholarship. The admission committee will make decision for the admission offer together with the Admission Scholarship to all applicants. Successful applicant will be notified for the scholarship award. No separate application is required. 

Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is participating in the Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program (AFLSP) as one of its Anchor Universities. Under the administration of Bai Xian Asia Institute (BXAI), the AFLSP provides scholarships for high-caliber students to study abroad within Asia and a platform for students and educational institutions to cultivate lasting relationships based on mutual trust and understanding ‐‐‐ essential tools for building bridges across cultures.

  • New students from East, Southeast, and South Asia, except Hong Kong, with priority given to Japanese
  • High proficiency in English
  • Applicants should possess:

Financial Aids

Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS)

The Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS) is offered by The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("Hong Kong"), which provides financial assistance in the form of loan(s) to eligible students to settle tuition fees of specific post-secondary / continuing and professional education courses studied in Hong Kong.

Students who have the right of abode in the Hong Kong or have resided or have had their homes in Hong Kong continuously for three complete years immediately prior to the commencement of the programme / course are eligible to apply for an ENLS loan to cover their tuition fees. The maximum amount of loan is the total tuition fee(s) payable in particular academic year.
